Johnny Carson was right

David Letterman tells a story of one of his earliest appearances on the Johnny Carson show. This was before Dave has his own program. Dave and Johnny were talking about things they went through when they were growing up. It was one of those conversations where they wer not only cracking the audience up but cracking themselves up too. When the commercial started playing Johnny leaned into Dave and told him... " Remember everything you've done. You'll be able to use it again.'

The same is true with sales.

Every experience. Every situation. Every adversity you've overcome can be fodder for a sales call in the future.
